The 'S' Word

The Gospel is the great equalizer of people. No one person is more important than another in God’s eyes. The Gospel has given women their rightful place as coequals with men. The Gospel has given the slave their rightful place as coequal with master. Children are not treated as idiots but as participating persons in the Gospel. Paul is also not asking for all societal norms to be changed or challenged either. He is focusing our personal outlook on our situation to our hearts and minds towards the Person of Jesus. How will we react or act in the various situations we find ourselves in is the question.
