Love Life

Last week Paul spoke of what the Christian life does not look like. We heard how focusing on Christ will kill off those dead things in our lives. Like an old tree with a few dead leaves hanging on throughout winter, they just won’t seem to let go. But in the spring when the new growth comes from within the branch, those old dead leaves are pushed off the tree by the new life growing from within. As Christ grows in us, his life pushes out those dead useless desires of the old self as we submit to him as Lord. This week he talks about our community, how we live together.
